How you can help

Your donation enables Charleston Area Senior Citizens to serve needy older adults in the Tri-County area. Our clients need food, assistance, monitoring, housing, and help. Your donations are used for direct services to enable low income seniors to remain in their homes and are tax deductible.

Our donation structure is as follows:

Corporate Sponsorships:   

  
Corporations that support our programs are prominently displayed in our annual report, press releases, and listed on our website.  Financial support from our sponsors helps CASC to honor older adults and extend our services.  Corporate Sponsorships are available for our annual events including:

• The Volunteer Recognition Program in April honoring local Foster Grandparent Volunteers is held in conjunction with National Volunteer Week.  Foster Grandparent Volunteers provide over 50,000 hours of service to the community assisting at-risk children.
•  The Music Festival in May is a fund raising event to support the Senior Companion Program. Over 60 senior volunteers provide 51,000 volunteer hours per year to homebound elderly.
• The Senior Companion Recognition Event in August honors volunteers who care for homebound seniors.
• The Art Festival in October featuring emerging artists is a fund raising event to support agency services.

Community Partners Programs:

• Friends - $1.00- $999

• Meal Pals - $1,200 provides a weekday meal for a home bound senior for one year
